Today our staff was treated to a Pretzel Wall with dipping sauces - both sweet and savory! Thank you to our local Hy-Vee for this awesome indulgence! Our staff also got to head outside in the sunshine for some oh so tasty drinks from Sips Dirty Soda Truck! What a refreshing way to top off the afternoon! Thank you Walnut Hills Elementary Schoolstaff- you are simply the best and we appreciation you so very much!

Walnut Hills Elementary School. Breakfast Pizza! Bagels! Cinnamon Rolls! Oh my! Add in some fruit and a cold brew bar … and you have a breakfast of champions for our WHE champions! Our staff is simply the best and we hope they started their day off full - full of breakfast and full of appreciation!

Thank you to Casey’s for the yummy breakfast pizzas, 5 Borough Bagels for the bagels and cream cheese, our very own Mrs. Clay for the cinnamon rolls and our parents for the other contributions to make this breakfast happen!

Today our staff was blessed with the best ice cream around! Home Sweet Cone Ice Cream generously donated delicious scoops of some of their tastiest flavors!l for our staff at WHE! Yum!!

Our PTO also made “Snackle” boxes for the staff to grab and go for an afternoon pick me up that also included a gift card for them to use when they’re out and about!

Olive Garden Waukee provided a fantastic lunch today for our wonderful staff! From their tasty breadsticks to their unbeatable salad to a delicious make your own pasta bar - our staff was spoiled for sure! Thank you Olive Garden for making today so special! Big shout out to our parents that provided some amazing desserts to top off the luncheon!

Cup of Joy Coffee Truck greeted our staff this morning to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week! While the teachers waited for their yummy drinks, they enjoyed some donuts from Casey’s (870 Ne Alice's Rd). What a way to start the week!

Remember to show your teachers how much you appreciate them by writing a little note or treating them to something off of their favorites list.
