The Girls Track & Field team capped off an outstanding season with a 2nd-place conference finish and a 15th-place finish at the state meet.
The Lions qualified four relays for state and set two school records, with both the 4x800 and Distance Medley Relay earning 4th-place finishes. Elyse Erzen β28 also broke school records in the 1500m and 3000m, placing 3rd and 5th, respectively.

ππββοΈDespite weather challenges and injuries, our boys track team put together an outstanding season! Highlights included Drake Relays qualifiers, a West Central Athletic Conference Championship by 50 points, and multiple state qualifiers in individual and relay events.
The way this team competed, persevered, and came together to win a conference title made this season one to remember. Great job, Lions! π¦

β³οΈ The DMC Girls Golf team wrapped up another outstanding season with a 44β9 record and a 6th-place finish at the State Tournament!
Led by Courtney Latham β26 and Caroline Niemann β26, the Lady Lions continued their tradition of excellence. Courtney also earned an impressive 6th-place individual finish at State.
Congratulations to Coach Zach Ebner, named WCAC Coach of the Year, and thank you to assistant coach Paige Hoffman for her impact on the program.
With a talented group returning next season, the future is bright for DMC Girls Golf. Congratulations, Lady Lions, on an exceptional year! π¦

What a season for Boys Golf! β³
The team finished 89-17, captured WCAC Conference, Sectional, and District Championships, and placed 8th at the Class 3A State Tournament.
Highlights included a school-record 280 at the District Championship, plus conference and sectional title-winning scores of 309 and 308.
Congratulations to WCAC First Team All-Conference honorees Braden Shontz '26, Parker Osthus '26, Noah Anderson '26, and Max Shisler '28. Max also tied the school 9-hole record (33) and set a new 18-hole school record with a 68.
Coach Philip Conover was named WCAC Coach of the Year for his leadership and the team's outstanding success.
We are proud of this team's dedication, sportsmanship, and accomplishments. Congratulations on an unforgettable season!

β½οΈπ¦ What a season for DMC Lions Girls Soccer!
The Lions finished 15-4-1 and advanced to the IGHSUA State Tournament Quarterfinals, marking their third State Tournament appearance in the last four years. Competing against one of the toughest schedules in Iowa, the team earned signature wins over six ranked 2A and 3A opponents and proved they belong among the state's best.
Senior leaders Kira Roberts '26, Addison Price '26, Addy Oetker '26, Hallie Evans '26, and Charlie Erzen '26 helped lead the way, while Addy Oetker tallied 34 goals and 23 assists, Hallie Evans added 28 goals, and Ava Jerkins '27 posted 117 saves with a 91% save percentage.
Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding season defined by hard work and perseverance! ππ

Under second-year Head Coach Brian Springer, the Lions finished as the Class 2A State Championship Runner-Up, concluding an outstanding season with a 15-3-1 record. The team fell 1-0 to Gilbert in the state championship match, but their accomplishments throughout the season were remarkable.
