✨ The Night They Found Moonmarket™ ✨
No one knows exactly where Moonmarket appears.
Some say it drifts between the stars.
Others say it hides inside the dreams of children.
But one moonlit night, two little girls found it.
The lanterns glowed like bottled constellations, and the cobblestone streets sparkled with stardust. Tiny owls watched from velvet perches while jars of moonbeams lined the shop windows.
The first little girl discovered a crate overflowing with fallen stars.
Each one twinkled softly in her hands.
"Do stars belong in the sky?" she whispered.
A wise owl blinked and replied,
"Only after they've been loved."
A little later, she met another traveler.
Together they lifted a single shining star between them, and for one perfect moment, it seemed as though they were holding a piece of heaven itself.
The star laughed.
Yes, laughed.
Moonmarket was that sort of place.
Soon they danced beneath silver moons and strings of glowing lanterns. Rabbits played music. Cats wore tiny crescent moons around their necks. The air smelled of wishes, cinnamon, and bedtime stories.
At the very heart of the marketplace stood a great kettle filled with Dream Potion.
The girls carefully stirred in moon dust, sweet dreams, giggles, friendship, and one tiny pinch of wonder.
The potion swirled and shimmered.
Golden sparks floated into the night sky.
And every spark became a new dream for a sleeping child somewhere in the world.
When the moon finally began to fade, the marketplace slowly disappeared.
The lanterns dimmed.
The stars returned home.
The owls tucked their heads beneath their wings.
But before Moonmarket vanished, the girls were each given a gift.
Not a star.
Not a potion.
Not a jar of dreams.
Something far more precious.
The memory of a magical night shared together.
And memories, as everyone at Moonmarket knows, are the only treasures that shine forever.
🌙✨
And the two featured little dream travelers in this magical tale are none other than our sweet Ellie Mae and Oaklee, wandering the moonlit streets of Moonmarket, collecting stardust, sharing wishes, and making memories that will sparkle forever.
Brooks is discovering the magic of color mixing today! 🎨
He’s exploring primary colors and learning how they can be combined to create brand-new colors. This hands-on introduction to color theory has him completely captivated as he experiments, makes predictions, and watches new colors appear right before his eyes.
Learning feels a lot like magic when you’re five. ✨

The Littles are currently very obsessed with all things Tim Burton and Nightmare Before Christmas, so when they started talking about Beetlejuice characters too, I knew this would make them absolutely lose their minds. 😂💚🖤
Just to be clear, they have not watched Beetlejuice. They simply love the whimsical spooky characters, the stripes, the silly weirdness, and the imaginative art style connected to the same creative world as Jack and Sally.
So naturally… (using Ai) we turned the daycare crew into tiny Beetlejuice characters and fully transformed the room too. Safe to say they were pretty impressed with themselves. 😅
“It’s showtime!”

At daycare on a morning merry,
Bright with purple, black, and cherry,
Came a most peculiar party for a boy now turning FIVE.
Streamers dangled from the ceiling,
Spiderwebs with spooky feeling,
While tiny feet came running in so happy and alive.
There was frosting thick and swirly,
Purple, sparkling, sweet, and curly,
Mixed by little helping hands with careful birthday pride.
Jack and Sally stood by watching,
Oogie Boogie grinned while plotting,
As sprinkles bounced like confetti tossed and scattered far and wide.
Glow sticks flashed in little fingers,
Birthday music softly lingered,
And hats sat crooked on small heads while children danced around.
Robots clicked across the tabletops,
Tiny giggles never seemed to stop,
And every corner of the daycare filled with joyful sound.
Brooks sat smiling at the center,
Like the mayor’s honored presenter
Straight from Halloween Town itself upon his special day.
Five years old feels big and magical,
Wild and wondrous and fantastical,
The sort of age where ordinary things still glow with play.
And oh, how sweet a thing to see,
A room so full of revelry,
Where childhood turned a simple morning into make-believe. 🎃💜

Buzz buzz buzz went the bees all day,
Tiny little hands were busy at play! 🐝
Fingerprint fireflies glowed so bright,
Floating in mason jars like stars at night.
Dot by dot and squish by squish,
Each little bug came with a tiny wish.
One friend painted with careful care,
Another added googly eyes everywhere!
Some danced outside with doctor tools too,
Checking on patients in a pretend-zoo crew. 🩺
There were butterflies, ladybugs, bumblebees too,
And plenty of giggles the whole day through.
Tiny artists, tiny dancers, tiny minds that grow,
Learning so much more than they even know.
Through all the fun today the kids practiced:
• Fine motor skills
• Creativity and imagination
• Color recognition and patterns
• Sensory exploration
• Social skills and teamwork
• Pretend play and storytelling
• Hand-eye coordination
And somewhere between the paint and the play,
A whole lot of memories were made today. 💛
Had a little “love bug” fun with baby Roman too….. ❤️🐞🐛

Tiny giggles echoed through the house today,
with paint-covered fingers and busy little hands at play.
One sweet baby bounced with his tiny cap on tight,
grinning at the world like everything felt just right.
At the table sat little artists with brushes in hand,
mixing colors and creating their own masterpieces so grand.
Some practiced letters, some painted with care,
while balloons floated above like a party in the air.
Coffee filters turned to rainbow flowers so bright,
carefully wrapped up for Mother’s Day delight.
Little hearts worked hard on each colorful surprise,
with pride shining big in their tiny little eyes.
And somewhere between the worksheets, paint trays, toys, and laughter,
were moments no camera could ever fully capture.
The belly laughs, the messy smiles, the concentration on their faces,
the magic of childhood found in ordinary places.
Through play today the kids practiced:
• Fine motor skills
• Early writing and letter recognition
• Creativity and self-expression
• Color exploration and painting techniques
• Problem solving and focus
• Social skills and working alongside friends
Days like these may look messy from the outside,
but inside them is learning, laughter, confidence, and love growing a little bigger every day. 💛
