Katie is a contemporary and classical dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She grew up dancing in Des Moines, Iowa, before continuing her studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a BFA in Dance in 2023. During this time, she was a member of Second Avenue Dance Company and performed works by Yin Yue, Dwight Rhoden, and Desmond Richardson. She also choreographed and performed works of her own for Tisch showcases and Second Avenue Dance Company concerts. She is excited to be back at Iowa Ballet Academy to share her love of dance with the students!
