Summer Flex Camp is a limited edition offering for new-to-us families. It’s the perfect way to give our immersive musical experience a try or to pop-in for a shorter session tailored to suit your busy summer days.

Already fully enrolled with us? You’re set for summer too! Enrolled families always receive the ability to self-schedule classes for maximum flexibility PLUS unlimited classes AND sliding scale tuition. 🫶🏼

No matter which option you pick (Enrollment or Summer Flex Camp), we are so excited to sprinkle all the magic of intentional, meaningful, magical musical learning into your summer.

Babies are so musical. And music is a remarkable, accessible, game-changing companion for nurturing your baby’s growing brain and body- and your connection too. This April, we have a very special event to share with you.

Create your own schedule with full access to all Thursday evening and Friday morning Music Makes My Day classes from April 2nd-24th. Bring multiple caregivers. Mix up days and times. Meet several of our teachers. Stream the accompanying music album all month long. Take home oodles of tools and activities to support your baby’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development during this important first year of life.

Join a music educator, a speech-language pathologist, and an occupational therapist! We’ll share tools, strategies, and games to nurture your child’s communication skills and empower you with information.

🧡10:00-10:30 AM - Open Studio: Drop-in casual play. No registration required.

🧡10:30-11:15 AM - Musical Playdate: 45 minutes of facilitated musical play. Learn and practice simple games, songs, and activities you can take home to support your child’s emerging communication skills, confidence, and freedom of expression. Registration is required.

🧡11:15-11:45 AM - Open Studio: Drop-in casual play. No registration required.

Keeping evening and weekend class options on our schedule is important. So we’re sharing a couple of class sections with you today that currently have space available and might work if you’re a grownup who is looking for dedicated, intentional, attuned one-on-one time with your little, outside of weekday daytime hours. 💕

We’re celebrating love in all its forms this month at our Musical Storytime at this coming Sunday (2/1). Join Miss Jenn at 10:30am in for a few songs and a story.

We love you just the way you are. Come sing and play and read with us. Everyone is welcome.

This three-week special event series for babies and their grownups starts next week. 💙

Music is a profound way to connect with your baby from the moment they arrive. We’ll wrap you both in three gentle and musically-immersive Mondays while you make new friends and build new skills.

Your baby was born musical. It’s never too early or too late to make music together. You’re right on time.

There is a lot to process in our changing reality right now. If you are feeling grief, rage, overwhelm, and uncertainty- you aren’t alone. We are with you.

Our studio community will always be a soft place to come be with all of these feelings. And we will always sing and play with our children. Because all children deserve the safety of play and the softness of song and the dignity of imagination.

It feels more important than ever to lean into relationship and the connections we share with friends and neighbors. Minnesota is showing us that everyday as they stand up for good and for each other.

We couldn’t be more proud of our neighbors to the north and we’re grieved by the burden they are experiencing. Our studio community extends beyond Iowa and includes families in the Minneapolis area. We’re sharing important hyper-local high impact support efforts they have connected us to. Enrolled families, check your email and our classroom flyers. (Protecting these helpers means we need to share some details off of social media. And it means we can practice the work of connecting in other ways. Something we really believe in and cherish.)

One support we can share online is the work DHH Church ( ) is doing. They are feeding thousands of people in their neighborhood and providing rent assistance to those unable to leave their homes safely to get to work.

If you are feeling stuck, small action can help. Your efforts don’t have to be perfect or big. Raising loving, attuned, empathetic, imaginative children is a form of resistance.

Friends with babies, tomorrow morning is gonna be too cold. So we’re reacheduling our Peekaboo Playdate for ages birth - 12mo at for next Thursday. AND we’re coming to YOU in our virtual music room tomorrow morning when you’re stuck indoors so you have something sweet to do while you’re safe at home.

We have ✨two✨ options for you to enjoy since the weather isn’t cooperating with our original plan. Attend one or both!

It is never a simple decision to switch up plans like this, especially when we don’t have a way to contact you directly about the change. But we hope this gives you and your baby a safe and expanded option to enjoy music-rich play this week and next. We’d really love your help spreading the word so that other folks see this shift.
