Last week this group of employees from Valerius, Olmsted, and Webster spent 2.5 days together at the Work Institute learning ways to strengthen their Professional Learning Communities! The learning never stops for dedicated educators!

At the end of May, we had the privilege of distributing scholarships to 34 students of the Urbandale Community School District.

Last Thursday, the Urbandale and UCSD community came together to host a Resource Distribution Day for the families that were affected by the Cross Creek Apartment fire. We want to take time to thank UCAN, the Urbandale Food Pantry, the Free Store, and the large number of UCSD staff and students who helped.
