It's Women's History Month! We would like to celebrate the accomplishments of Chung Sul Youn "Sue" Kim. Chung Sul is believed to be the first woman to have received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1955, with the highest grade average and multiple honors. She went on and completed her postdoctoral work at the University of California, Davis, and worked as a research scientist in industry. She has received numerous awards and honors throughout her lifetime. Chung Sul has paved the way and inspired many to be resilient and hardworking.
