“From becoming friends to roommates to best friends, I genuinely can’t imagine my life without Izzy. Living with her made me realize even more how grateful I am to have someone like her in my life, and I truly wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. From our late night talks, to surprising each other with birthday decorations, to hyping each other up, there is never a dull moment with Izzy. We always find a way to celebrate and laugh about all the little things, making them all feel special. She always brings so much energy and happiness everywhere she goes, and whenever we’re together, we never fail to make everyone around us smile and laugh with us. No matter what’s going on, I know she’ll always pick up the phone and do anything to be there for me, and having someone I can always count on like that means more than I could ever explain. I’m beyond lucky to have a friend like Izzy, and I’m so thankful for every memory we’ve made plus all the memories still to come. 💕”- Simryn, ‘27 💝

“I can’t even explain how thankful I am to have Simryn by my side as my best friend. It’s hard to believe we haven’t been friends for that long but it feels like I’ve known her forever. Simryn is literally my go to person whether I need someone to talk to, study with, do yoga with, go on walks with, grab food, or honestly just sit and laugh with, she’s always there. She somehow makes every moment better just by being there. She’s one of those people who brings so much positivity and comfort into my life without even trying. She brings such a light to every room she walks in to. No matter what kind of day I’m having, she always knows how to make me feel better and supported. “Coming to such a big school, I was so nervous about finding my people. Going Greek ended up being the best decision I made in college. I’ve been lucky to meet so many amazing women across different chapters, but Delta Gamma is where I found my people, my best friends, my biggest supporters, and the women I know will be standing by my side as future bridesmaids. In just four short years, they’ve been there for me through my highest highs and lowest lows, and I can confidently say these are friendships that will last a lifetime. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would Go Greek and choose Delta Gamma every single time.“

“Dasha’s been my best friend since freshman year and honestly I don’t know what I’d do without her. From the second we started talking she was so easy to be around, and she’s been my go-to for everything ever since. We do literally everything together: going on runs, grabbing coffee, studying, or just talking for way too long. She’s the most fun person to be around and somehow always knows how to instantly lift my mood, she’s literally a walking ball of joy and it’s contagious. From trips to Florida, Michigan, and Chicago to random dinners and everyday moments, it’s always better with her. Excited for everything we still have ahead of us!!
