πŸ’¦ Stay hydrated in the summer heat! Hydration is key to regulating your body. You should be consuming about 3.5 liters of water a day. This can be easily implemented into your daily routines, like eating highly-concentrated watery foods or drinking water right when you wake up.

What's your favorite way to stay hydrated? Comment below! πŸ’¬

πŸ™ƒ It's easy to be positive when you water your own grass & build yourself up. It can be hard to stay optimistic in challenging times, but positive forward thinking makes it worthwhile. Positive Attitude Changes Everything!

Send this to someone who has stinky feet🦢

Foot hygiene is important. If you are experiencing foot pain or frequent poor odors, don't wait to be evaluated. Schedule an appointment with your McKinley provider.

Some foot hygiene tips include:
πŸ‘Ÿ Wash your feet thoroughly
πŸ‘Ÿ Avoid walking barefoot to help protect your feet from injury & infection
πŸ‘Ÿ Inspect your feet regularly & pay attention to changes in color, texture, & appearance
πŸ‘Ÿ Cut toenails straight across
πŸ‘Ÿ Wear proper shoes that are not too large or too small
πŸ‘Ÿ Moisturize feet to avoid calluses or skin irritation
πŸ‘Ÿ If you get bunions, try icing your feet to reduce inflammation or soaking in Epsom salt

Keep those feet happy! πŸ‘ž

πŸͺ² FIGHT THE BITE: Avoid the pesky bugs. Bug bites are common when warm weather settles in, but don't let them deter you from having a fun summer!

🦟 Mild allergic reactions happen after a mosquito bite, with itchy symptoms lasting several days
🦟 Wash the bug-bite infected area with soap & water
🦟 Apply anti-itch cream
🦟 Stay indoors at dawn & dust to avoid bites
🦟 Wear long sleeves & pants when going outside
🦟 Apply mosquito repellent
🦟 Get rid of standing water where mosquitoes breed
