Tune in to Catch the Beat this evening at 5:30 pm for a conversation between host Cope Cumpston and Joy Yang, master of piano and theremin, frequent performer, and founder of the Interdisciplinary Institute here in town, which brings together STEAM research with teaching, creativity and community.

Joy masterminds opportunities for collaborations and performances exploring the sciences and the arts.

Her music is often played on WEFT and she can be heard as a frequent special guest on Jason Finkelman’s “Fanfare for the Speeding Bullet” on Sunday nights.

You can hear today’s “Catch the Beat” program on 90.1 FM, weft.org/listen, and on the WEFT App.
