Urbana School District #116 will be hosting the second annual Black History Month Kick Off (details are in the flyer below) in Honor of Janice Mitchell, Urbana School District's former Parent and Community Outreach Liaison and dedicated Urbana community advocate.
The program will consist of uplifting and educational performances that highlight and celebrate the richness of Black History.

The flyers below will provide you with information about family friendly events and school supply giveaways in the Champaign-Urbana community beginning on August 6, 2022.
Senate Bill 157 is a tax holiday that reduces the sales tax on school supplies in the State of Illinois from 6.25% to 1.25% for 10 days only, beginning on August 5th.
