Introducing AIGA's 2021 Executive Board:
Meet our first Co-President, Priya Goel. She’s a sophomore dual majoring in Graphic Design and Psychology and this is her fourth semester on AIGA! Even though Priya’s still figuring it out, she’s most interested in UI/UX design. Her Myers Briggs personality type cods is ENFJ, the Teacher.
And our second Co-President will be Miah Emano. She’s a senior studying Graphic Design and this is her fourth semester on AIGA as well! Miah’s interested in product designing and packaging. Her personality type is ENFP, the Campaigner.
Our Director of Programming will be Alex Ramirez. He is a sophomore and a Graphic Design major, Journalism minor. This is his fourth semester on the club and he is most interested in design within digital and print media as well as branding, UI/UX, and motion graphics. Alex’s personality type is ENFJ, the Protagonist.
Meet our new Director of Communications, Alexis Johnson. She’s a junior majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Informatics. She’s interested in UI/UX design and design for advertising. This will be her third semester on the AIGA UIUC exec board. Her personality type is INFP-T, Mediator.
Meet the new Director of Fundraising, Katie Li. She is a sophomore majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Informatics. This is her first semester with AIGA so she’s really excited to be a part of the team. Katie’s interested in Graphic and UI/UX Design. Her Myers Briggs personality type is ENFP-T aka the Campaigner!
Our Director of Finance is Mason Rousey. He’s a sophomore studying Graphic Design and this is his first semester on AIGA UIUC but he’s been involved with AIGA for 1.5 years. Mason’s interested in using design in order to create a better future. He says it’s really up to us as designers to use our skills to help uplift our communities and create a brighter tomorrow. His Myers Briggs Test personality type is ENFJ, the Teacher!

Thank you to all who decided to join us and our alumni friends during our 10/13 meeting! We were blown away at how engaged everyone was from all the questions and comments that were made. We hope that you were able to gain some valuable insight and guidance for the future in pursuing a career in design.
Shout out to Andrea, Edgar, Charlotte, and Amelia for taking the time out of their busy schedules to share their wisdom!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Design 101 workshop today! It was a great turnout and we were so happy to see so many people interested in learning about the awesome world of design! We especially want to thank our friends from Design Innovation Illinois for all their help in making this workshop possible.
