Do you know a SGC, UMS, or UHS Student who is interested in Jazz Band? ✴️🎶 Sign-ups for reading sessions and audition prep will be posted on the bulletin boards in the SGC, UMS, and UHS band rooms this week. Then come try it out the following week. It's a great way to start the day!

Check out the details:
▪️ Sign ups will be posted on the SGC, UMS or UHS band room bulletin board during the week of September 14!
▪️ SGC & UMS: Come to reading days/audition prep on at 7:45 am on Tuesday, September 22 and Thursday, September 24 at UMS. Auditions for 7th & 8th grade will take place on Tuesday, September 29th at UMS and auditions for 6th grade will take place on Thursday, October 1 at SGC, both at 7:45 am.
▪️ UHS Jazz Band: Come to reading days/audition prep on Monday, September 21, Wednesday, September 23, and Friday, September 25 at 7:10 am in the UHS Band Room. Auditions will take place on Monday, September 28, Wednesday, September 30, and Friday, October 2 at 7:10 am.

Interested in Jazz? UHS Race Street Combo is seeking a student pianist and/or guitarist for the 2026/2027 Season! 🎹🎸

Come to reading sessions/audition prep in the UHS Band Room starting Tues, Sept 8 and Thurs, Sept 10, at 7:10 am. Auditions will be held at a later date.

Urbana Tiger Marching Band is excited to share the route with the Holy Cross School Marching Band and the Rantoul Township High School Bands Marching Eagles!

Don’t forget to bring a bag for candy! 🍬

▪️ Downtown Champaign
▪️ Route: The parade route will start at the corner of N. Chestnut St. and E. Main St. and then proceed through downtown Champaign on Main St., Walnut St., Chester St., and Neil St., disbanding around Washington St. and Neil St.
