In solemn remembrance of the September 11th
Attacks, our brothers joined the Illinois ROTC in a stair-climb of Memorial Stadium. In commemoration of the bravery of first responders, they completed 2,200 steps equivalent to the 110 flights of the North and South towers. Thank you to ROTC and UIUC FD for organizing this powerful event

Last week, members of our Executive Council were treated to a dinner at the prestigious Chicago Club in the city. At the dinner, our brothers reflected on the coming year and connected with alumni. A special thanks to Brother David Nirschl for organizing and facilitating the event and the Chicago Club for hosting our members.

This past weekend, our newly elected Commander Liam Mathews and Lt. Commander Carlos Aispuro attended the 2024 College of Chapters in Roanoke, Virginia. At this extensive retreat, our incoming leaders were able to learn leadership strategies from alumni and staff, connect with Commanders at other Sigma Nu chapters, and visit the historic Sigma Nu founding sites at the VMI and headquarters in Lexington. Primed and charged for a new semester, we cannot wait to see what the future holds!
