“Being on the Exec board has given me the opportunity to develop more professionally and to be a better leader. Through my Secretary position I’ve had the opportunity to work with sisters here at the undergraduate level as well as correspond with alum and sisters on a national level. At all of these levels its important to keep professional correspondence at all times to reflect the chapter in the best way. In addition, as a sister with the standards position I also have been able to practice and emphasize the ability of separating business and friendship by being an unbiased figure in the sorority for sisters.”

As an Americorps Saga member, Emily will promote the academic success of a small cohort of students by focusing intently on individualized instruction and building strong relationships.
