Reminder: Membership Meeting Tonight, 7 pm, at the Urbana Shop.

We won't be open tonight but open hours at the Urbana shop should resume Thursday 7-9 pm.

Sorry for the late notice but the meeting tonight is cancelled due to the storm.

We will not be open this afternoon.

Although bicycling in the snow can be pretty epic if you have the right gear, at least another hour of snow is forecast between now and our usual 3 pm opening time. No plowing at all has happened in at least one volunteer's neighborhood, and those of us who can should focus on shoveling and otherwise helping our neighbors.

At the last Revolutions we worked on kid's bikes which were given away at the big event on December 20. Stop by tonight to see what we're up to.

Revolutions is our shop night from 7-9 pm on the second Monday of the month welcoming trans, women, & non-binary folks.

Yesterday we gave away over 50 bikes to kids in under 15 minutes. Today we are officially closed until January 4th. Happy Holidays to all who celebrate and take heart - we'll be seeing more daylight starting tomorrow!

Our annual Cranksgiving ride and food drive was a giant success! As you can see from just the astonishing number of items that made it into the image, there were too many to count, but we know they totaled over $2,000. Goods were split between the Wesley Food Pantry and the McKinley Food Pantry at Garden Hills.

It doesn't escape our notice that the "giving" portion of the latter half of this long weekend happens after you've already been encouraged to empty your pockets to consumerism, but if you want to help the community, consider donating to a local food pantry or soup kitchen. You can also donate to us, and we'll even post a link in the comments, but we get that times are tough and food is FOOD.

By the way, check your garage and ask your neighbors if they have any kids bikes we can fix up - we need 'em fast!
