EVERYONE PLEASE WELCOME OUR NEW INTERNS! 🎉🎉

We welcomed 12 NEW TAP interns this fall, as well as 3 returning from previous semesters. We are fully staffed and ready for your material requests!

Our FALL hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 9am-6pm
Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Having trouble with parking? If you don't want to look for a metered spot to park in, you can call us when you arrive (217-244-1395) and we can run materials out to you curbside. OR if you want to come inside and you know ahead of time when you will be coming, you can email Cassie at [email protected] and she can try to reserve the guest parking spot for you.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! 🎉

We are very excited to announce that TAP will be offering TWO social groups for autistic/neurodiverse children again during the fall 2026 semester! Our Elementary and Middle School Social Groups will be held at United Way (5 Dunlap Ct. Savoy, IL). Group activities have been created in partnership with the Champaign-Urbana Community Fab Lab.

Our Elementary Group (grades K-5) will be offered on Mondays from 3:45-5:00pm. Our Middle School Group (grades 6-8) will be offered on Wednesdays from 3:45-5:00pm. Limited spots are available for each group.

REMINDER - TAP CLOSED STARTING TOMORROW

TAP will be CLOSED from August 6th through August 21st as we say goodbye to our summer interns and welcome our new fall interns!

Adrienne and Cassie will be in the office and available for PICKUPS ONLY between August 6th and August 21st. Our hours for order pickup during these dates are as follows:

Monday-Friday; 10am-4pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

The Illinois Neurodiversity Initiative (INI) is searching for an Associate Director! INI is a comprehensive support program; like TAP, they are housed in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. INI promotes the success of neurodivergent college students from orientation through graduation by providing academic supports, mental health services, social connection, and employment preparation.
