Campus Middle School for Girls

Current and former members of the CMS community gathered together last night to honor the legacy of Traci Walker Pines. This community art event gave all the opportunity to create painted rocks that can then be shared throughout the community and beyond, just as Traci always encouraged.

Ms. Traci joined the CMS Arts faculty in 2011, and during her years at CMS she inspired hundreds of students to create, explore, and express themselves through art. She encouraged students to see themselves as artists and to share their work with the world. She loved her students and colleagues, and we loved her in return. Her creativity, kindness, and enthusiasm touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all of us.
