We hope everyone had a peaceful Spring Break! The Urbana Adult Education Center's office is back to normal hours.

Before we, closed for Spring Break, the Urbana Adult Education Center, graduated some amazing, service-focused, talented, and brilliant Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Good afternoon/evening Urbana Adult Education Center Family and Friends!!

The Urbana Adult Education Center's office will be open for limited hours from Monday, March 16th - 20th for Spring Break. Please call, 217-384-3530, ahead of time to ensure someone is in the office to assist you. There are no classes from Monday, March 16th - 20th for Spring Break. UAEC will resume classes on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Be safe and take care of one another. We will see everyone back in classes on Monday, March 23, 2026.

We hope everyone is doing well. For our English as a Second Language family and friends: All of the UAEC ESL classes are full and the registration is closed for the Spring 2026 academic year. The next opportunity to register for English as a Second Language classes, will open Mid July 2026 for the Fall 2026 - 2027 academic year.

We hope everyone is staying warm this winter season. The Urbana Adult Education Center's office will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday.

The UAEC's office will be open on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. On Tuesday, January 20th (First day of class), Urbana Adult Education Center, will be welcoming old and new students into our, High School Diploma, English as a Second Language, and CNA Bridge classes. Please be patient with our staff and each other as we all navigate such a busy day.

CALLING ALL High School Diploma students, this is Orientation week starting Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13, 2026!!!! There are 7 opportunities for you to attend Orientation this week. YOUR ATTENDANCE, High School Diploma STUDENTS, AT ORIENTATION this week IS MANDATORY.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS (personal and school) HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA STUDENTS, for your Orientation day and time! If you, HSD student, miss ORIENTATION this week YOU NOT BE ABLE TO START CLASSES ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2026.

The Urbana Adult Education Center will be open for limited hours during Winter Break, Monday, December 22, 2025 thru Friday, January 2, 2026. There are NO CLASSES during Winter Break. If you have business at UAEC during Winter Break call first, 217-384-3530, to see if anyone is in to avoid an unnecessary trip.
