A picnic guarantees it will rain within the hour - and Mother Nature nailed the timing on our patio picnic.
The one thing the rain definitely didn’t dampen was everybody’s enthusiasm.
Our ‘Cook The Books’ dinner moved smoothly indoors to the 3rd floor flex-space.
Patrons enjoyed a gourmet picnic meal with Sausage-stuffed Mushrooms, Harissa Chicken Sandwiches, Couscous with pomegranate, Blueberry French Toast Casserole, Bourbon Chocolate Bundt Cake and many other dishes.
No poison ivy, pesky ants, or flying napkins. Just delicious food and weather we could control!

The Upper St. Clair Library, through the generosity of the Friends of the Library, is excited to announce four unique programs presented by The Frick Pittsburgh. Through discussion, slide presentations, and hands-on artifacts, participants can explore Pittsburgh and American history through a series of themed programs running from June through December 2026.
