Description: Using the research on learning mindsets and intellectual development schemata, this webinar provides strategies and resources for addressing student mindsets about their ability to learn and grow and develop advanced intellectual and academic skills. The webinar addresses mindsets and ability through the lens of gender, race, neurodiversity, and disciplinary thinking and is a good foundational training on how to minimize the effects of implicit bias and microaggressions in the classroom. Together we will watch the webinar and engage in discussion on how to apply these concepts and skills to our own teaching and classrooms.
