So proud of .unifiedsports as they competed in the Special Olympics State Track Meet today at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex! Take a look at a few of their performances.

Natalie Kelley in the long jump, Saida Caleb came placed 3 overall in the 400 meter dash, Andre Thrasher had a mammoth throw of 178 ft, putting him in the lead headed into the finals!

Congratulations to the the Unified Track Team for finishing 2nd in Division 3 at the Prince George's County Championship.

Wise girls lacrosse celebrated their senior night last night

There are some coworkers who live their life in such a way that you know that you are in the presence of an angel, and Lady Valencia Rodgers Howard is one of those people. I was shocked to see farewell messages to you last night and woke up to see more which set in the reality that you have joined realm of the ancestors.

A proud fellow Bison, who I conversed with often about the state of the university and games we would attend. It was a joy to have working with you directly for 17 years prior to your retirement and always a pleasure to see you this year as you subbed at Wise. Your foundation set in the Performance Arts wing and with the students, especially our student athletes, you graced with your presence and tutelage was monumental. Your everyday presence was missed since your retirement and now knowing your occasional presence via substituting will be missed even more.

Rest well Mrs. Howard, you have earned it for a job well done.🐂
