prehospital Emergency Medical Services personnel to those who make up the team who care for trauma patients and their families in both the acute and rehabilitation phases of treatment. Just as trauma care requires a team of experts working together, ATS depends on a diversity of members who can work together to advance trauma care nationally. The ATS serves our members in their work as trauma care providers. We provide programs and courses in injury prevention, communication with patients and families, and the specifics of the Trauma Registry and Trauma Program Management. We provide opportunities for engagement in the Trauma Program Manager Council, the Trauma Registrar Council, and ad hoc committees. ATS is also engaged in the development of new courses and programs in response to unmet needs within the trauma community. Importantly, membership in ATS supports the vital, life-saving programs and courses of the ATS nationally.
