Over 100 aspiring professionals joined us at Prince George's Community College – University Town Center in Hyattsville, Maryland, for an impactful day of career exploration, networking, and professional development.
Designed to help new graduates transition confidently into the workforce, the Launch Your Future in Healthcare & IT Recruitment Event connected emerging talent with employers actively hiring across the Healthcare and Information Technology industries. Attendees learned about current career opportunities and gained valuable insight into the skills and qualifications employers are seeking.
In addition, job seekers participated in personalized one-on-one sessions that provided valuable insight into what to expect during and after the event. These individual discussions offered practical guidance on career readiness, interviewing strategies, professional networking, and navigating the next steps in their career journeys.

Today’s Quarterly Bridge to Employment Job & Resource Fair Summer Kickoff drew hundreds of residents eager to explore new opportunities and take the next step in their career journeys
In partnership with District 4 Council Member Tim Adams for County Council, job seekers had the opportunity to connect directly with employers and community resource partners, showcase their skills, and explore a variety of open positions. Attendees also participated in workshops designed to help them prepare for the job fair and gain valuable insight into what to expect after the event.
We were honored to hear inspiring remarks from County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy, State Delegate Kym Taylor, and our Director of Strategic Partnerships, Alonzo Washington, as they shared their commitment to supporting the workforce needs of our community.
