FINCEN's Beneficial Owners Information report is live. The filing is only for small businesses who have less than 20 f/t employees and gross over $5 million. Owners and independent contractors don't count as employees. A business of any size in finance, insurance, public accounting, government or is tax-exempt are also exempt. I will keep my commentary to myself about the effectiveness of this requirement in preventing tax theft and financial fraud. https://www.fincen.gov/boi

Talk and type less? Yes please! 💬 I just stumbled upon a nifty little trick to speed up my workflow without lifting more than my fingertips. An article on Kim Komando's tech site explains how to enable speech-to-text on your devices to take verbal dictation. https://www.komando.com/kims-column/dictation-tips/898598/

So next time I'm staring down the barrel of a long email or report, I'll let my vocal cords do the heavy lifting! 🗣️ No more tedious typing or texting finger cramps. Just smooth dictation magic converting my words into text.

The technology has come a long way too - supposedly the voice recognition can understand plain human speak instead of sounding like you're talking to a robot overlord. 🤖

I may talk to myself at my desk now, but it's not because I'm losing it! I'll just be chatting up my computer to bust out documents at record speed. 🏃🏽‍♀️ Who knew being an adult means reliving your make-believe childhood friend days!?️

Let me know if y'all have other offbeat shortcuts for getting stuff done without the grind. This short-cut has already got me daydreaming about all my newfound "me time"! 😎⛱️ What will I do with those extra hours in the day not spent keyboard smashing? Plan me a vacay, Siri! Luau here I come! 🥥🍹

Using dictation in Microsoft Word and Google Docs is a good idea for taking notes and getting your thoughts out. Here's how to use it.
