Welcome to the official page of the Highland Park Home & School Association! With over 700 students representing 500+ families, we provide critical support for enrichment activities, field trips, classroom supplies and other resources. We sponsor several activities throughout the year to raise funds for these endeavors. Every Highland Park parent is automatically a member of the Home and

School Association. Thanks to the efforts of families like yours over the past few years, the Home and School Association has:• Donated Smart Boards to classrooms• Funded an annual Teacher Appreciation• Sponsored UDHS Alumna Scholarships and the 5th Grade Awards• Provided water ice for Spirit Day• Helped pay for bus transportation for field tripsand much more!

We are following up on our communications about the weather forecast for today January 16, 2024 (Tuesday). The overnight weather did not improve, and we are facing icy road conditions.

As a result, we are now calling for a DAY OFF from school for January 16, 2024.  All District Offices and School Buildings will be closed on January 16, 2024. We apologize for changing our plans and for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. We had hoped to complete at least a half day of school today, but we did not want to risk anyone’s safety. 

Charter, private, or parochial schools:

The District will not be providing transportation for all charter, private, and parochial schools.

 After-School Activities:

There will be no after-school activities for January 16, 2024.

We want to thank you for your patience and understanding. Again, we apologize for any confusion and for changing our plans. We would also like to thank our facilities team and transportation department for their hard work.

Popcorn sales starts in 1 hour. Team - I set up a Double Good virtual fundraiser! It’s 100% contactless, we keep 50% of the profit and the product ships directly to the buyer.

Each of us will create a Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good gourmet popcorn! Prices range from $18-$59. The popcorn is award-winning and really delicious!

Our fundraising window begins on November 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM and goes until November 29, 2022, at 12:00 PM.

Before the fundraiser begins:
1. Download the Double Good app
2. Enter our event code VCQAWP in the app
3. Create your Pop-Up Store

The app is available for free on iOS and Android.

Next Tuesday, October 4th from 9 am to 1pm Pennsylvania Resources Council is hosting an electronics recycling collection at Upland County Park. Advanced registration is required and can be done at pcr.org/DelcoCollection or by calling 610-353-1555 ext 3.
