From reconnecting with friends and teachers to settling into new classrooms, it was wonderful to see our school community together again.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as we prepare to begin a new school year, we place our schools, classrooms, homes, and hearts into Your loving care. Bless our students, teachers, administrators, staff, families, and pastors. Fill us with wisdom, courage, patience, and joy. May our schools be places where faith is nurtured, truth is discovered, and every person is treated with dignity and love. Guide us throughout this school year so that all we do may give glory to You.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Day 9: For the School Year Ahead

Scripture:
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." (Proverbs 16:3)

Reflection:
As the school year begins, we entrust every lesson, friendship, activity, challenge, and success to God.

Prayer:
Gracious God, we place this entire school year in Your hands. Guide our learning, strengthen our faith, and deepen our love for one another. May everything we do draw us closer to You and help us become the people You created us to be. Through the intercession of Mary, Seat of Wisdom, and St. Joseph, protector of families, keep us always in Your care. Amen.

Parents are the first teachers of the faith. The partnership between home and school strengthens the formation of children.

Heavenly Father, bless our families. Grant parents wisdom, patience, and perseverance as they guide their children. Strengthen family relationships and help homes become places where faith, love, learning, and respect flourish. Amen.

Today the SLS faculty and staff had a class on CPR, AED, and basic First Aid! Thank you to Delaware County CPR for teaching how to help others in an emergency situation!!!

We are one day closer to the first day of school!

We can’t wait to see our kids on August 24th!!!
