Our hearts go out to our members experiencing displacement or damage due to last week's storms in the Midwest, particularly the intense and deadly flooding in Indiana and Ohio. Delta Gamma is here for those affected, and we want to remind our members that the Delta Gamma Foundation offers Crisis Grants to support sisters during this challenging time.

If you or another member needs financial assistance, you may be eligible for a Crisis Grant. The link to the application can be found here https://www.deltagamma.org/foundation/individual-member-support/ or call 614-481-8169 to speak with a Foundation staff member.

If you are able to help your sisters facing a crisis from a natural disaster or other financial hardship, please consider making a gift to the Foundation’s Crisis Grant fund at donate.deltagamma.org/CrisisGrants.

Theta-Indiana collegians go "all in" when they dedicate themselves to training and competing in the campus-famous Little 500 bike race! 🚴‍♀️

If you didn't go to Indiana University, you might not know that Little 500 isn't just a race. It's a tradition and known as "The World's Greatest College Weekend." It takes over the town of Bloomington, Indiana, annually at the end of April.

"It only happens once," Anna Witte, Theta-Indiana, says. "It's not like a football game where you get multiple home games. This is it. Two days [one for women and one for men], and that's all you get." The race itself is simple in theory: a relay-style cycling competition held at Bill Armstrong Stadium, where teams of four riders circle the cinder track, exchanging bikes in a choreographed sprint that requires precision, trust and timing. There are 33 teams competing and only four riders per team of eight race. Once those four names are submitted five days before the event, there are no substitutions. "No pressure," Bridget Phau, Theta-Indiana, and senior captain of the 2026 Delta Gamma race team, said with a smile.
