很開心發現番茄公主和田心王子畫的太陽，出現較豐富的造型與色彩。
對於剛進入前圖式期4歲或5歲的孩子的構圖及色彩，通常是以自我為中心，畫出概念性造型的簡單線條，用色大膽熱情。隨著孩子對物象的認知發展，所描繪的造型會趨於複雜精細。身為兒童美術教育工作者，很重要的是，美術課程是需要依據每個孩子不同的特質，適度引導孩子對物象的觀察，豐富孩子的想像力，進而激發兒童天生具有的創造力。

2014年的某個夏天，番爸把當年來美國當窮苦留學生時買的第一套餐桌椅，用砂紙打磨後給番姊(茄)、番妹(玉米的台語)和田心王子玩彩繪椅子，是成立畫室陪著孩子們成長的開始...
