Are you ready for zucchini? We are excited to bring our veggies to the Farmers Market in Upland tomorrow afternoon. There will even be bounce houses so bring the kids! We will also be selling peppers, snap peas, basil and other herbs. Load up on some great fresh produce!

We thank God for this bounty. Last year we had a lot of pests and hardly harvested any zucchini. We are trying some new organic methods but it seems to mostly be the weather keeping the insects down. Lord willing, we should have cucumbers and tomatoes in a week or two.

We have been working hard on the campus vegetable garden and are excited to be selling some of our early produce at the Upland Farmers' Market tomorrow from 4pm to 7pm.

We had an unforgettable "Dinner in the Garden" with 12 student yesterday using our organic produce from the campus garden and the tilapia from our aquaponics system. Creative Dining's wonderful chefs prepared the delicious food. Thanks Nathaniel Malone for sharing your skill as well as your mushrooms!

Kate and Juniper (who worked all summer tending the garden) did a great job explaining some of what we learned in our research and we all enjoyed the bounty of God's good creation through food and fellowship. So thankful the rain stopped!

Taylor’s campus garden will be open for visits Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:30pm to 5:00pm starting July 7. Come learn from the students managing the garden and share your ideas. We will also have produce for sale. This week there will be zucchini, summer squash, peppers, kale and some of the earliest tomatoes. We also have fresh herbs including basil, sage, dill, rosemary and thyme. The garden is in front of Randall off of 8th street.

One week of hard work and the campus garden goes from a patch of clover to trellised tomatoes! So glad that Lindsay Rice could start this week to get this done.
