What an incredible final week of summer camp at NearSpace Education!
We were thrilled to once again partner with the Wolfpack CubeSat Development Team from Florida and welcome an amazing group of students to Upland. This week brought together local students from Grant County with students from across Indiana, around the country, and even around the world.
Our campers represented Norway, Israel, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and communities throughout Indiana. It was incredible to watch students from so many different backgrounds come together, build friendships, solve problems, explore STEM, and learn from one another.
We were also excited to host the Wolfpack as they worked alongside NearSpace on WolfSat-1. This CubeSat is being developed for a planned 2027 launch aboard a Firefly Alpha rocket, giving students the opportunity to contribute to a real space mission and see how classroom learning can connect to the aerospace industry.
We are thankful not only for this unforgettable week, but for every student, family, instructor, volunteer, donor, and partner who helped make all of our summer camps possible this year.
As we wrap up another amazing summer, we are already excited to begin planning for next year and dreaming about the future of NearSpace Education’s summer programs.
Thank you to everyone who made this summer one to remember!
