There are major changes at Impact. A new year has brought new opportunity. Please read a note from both Kathy and Cristina.

From Cristina:
Wow! What a wonderful ride it has been the last 10 years! Impact has been so incredibly linked to Kathy and my identity it is hard to believe that is changing. As I think back to all of the all-nighters, wondering if we would land the project, gutting it out through a recession, continually learning and making many mistakes along the way…I know those of you out there who have businesses will absolutely resonate with the statement “It was SO worth it!” We never would have been able to do what we did without you, our clients, colleagues, friends, family and incredible staff.

The last several years have been instrumental in shaping us as business owners, leaders, and friends. When Kathy chose to apply to the position at Avedis, just as with any of her pursuits, I knew she would succeed in getting the position. She is amazing and that community is so lucky to have her at the helm of Avedis. It is bittersweet for me to say that I know this is the perfect position for the perfect person in the perfect time.

An important aspect to leadership is flexibility in thinking and so knowing that things were changing, I had to figure out what my path would be. I’m happy to say, the work will continue! Shelli, myself and the staff are still having so much fun partnering with our clients and encouraging growth in your journey…we will continue to be here for you! In the New Year I will be announcing a new company – Steople – so like us on Facebook to see all the updates!

With that...I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. I also hope you know how much we both love and support you and want you to be incredibly successful in all that you do! 2019 is only a few days away and…guess what? It is a blank canvas for all of us to paint our own story.

From Kathy:
In 2008, Cristina and I launched our organizational consulting and executive coaching company together. We have enjoyed a fruitful and prosperous 10 years together as partners, growing an average of 50% year over year…thanks to YOU, our clients, friends, colleagues, business associates, and vendors!

With time, however, comes change. I was fortunate to have a wonderful opportunity come my way this past year that is the perfect next career move and fit for my life. Upon considerable thought and reflection, I accepted an offer to be the CEO/President of the Avedis Foundation. It is a $100M, six-year old private foundation located in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where I live and served as a board member since its inception. Avedis’ mission is to measurably improve the health, wellness & quality of life of the people of Pottawatomie County and surrounding communities. Our tagline is, “We’re here for good.”

While I have wholeheartedly loved the work and the many amazing coaching and consulting clients and organizations I have been engaged with through Impact, I am making room for what the next phase of my life will bring. I am honored to have the opportunity to impact my community in my new role, just as I’ve been honored to be a part of co-founding Impact with Cristina, working with our great staff, and having the privilege of working with many of you. You have enriched my life and professional growth beyond measure and I am grateful.

Cristina has some exciting new plans for the next phase of her coaching and consulting career that she will be unveiling soon! I wish her every success in her life and future business pursuits. Cristina is incredible, and I know she will continue to make an indelible mark on the clients and organizations her work touches in the years ahead!

As 2019 arrives, I wish you the courage to make the changes needed in your organization and your life as you travel along your journey. May all good things come to each of you and yours!
