Celebrate Excellence: MBEA 2026 Awards!

Do you know a Business Educator who goes above and beyond? Now is the time to give them the recognition they deserve! The Michigan Business Education Association is officially accepting nominations for our 2026 Awards.

We’re looking for the best of the best in these three categories:
🥇 Recognition of Service Award: For the legends who have excelled in service to MBEA and business education in Michigan.
🍎 Outstanding Contributions (Middle, Secondary, & Post-Secondary): Celebrating classroom excellence at every level of teaching.
🌟 Emerging Professional Award: For the rising stars (2–6 years of experience) making a massive impact in middle or high schools.

The Details
Q: Who can nominate?
A: MBEA members, School Administrators, and CTE Directors.

Requirements: Nominees must be members in good standing. You’ll need the nomination form plus two letters of recommendation (from administrators, colleagues, or students).

Pro Tip: Chat with your nominee before submitting to make sure you have all the "win-worthy" details!

On Monday of this week MBEA Board Member, Andrea Hudson, took her first team to the Michigan Council on Economic Education's Personal Finance Challenge at the Federal Reserve - Detroit Branch and her team WON! They have qualified and will be competing at the National level in Atlanta, GA on June 1, 2026.

Congratulations Andrea and team!!! Good luck at Nationals!!!

I attended the annual meeting two years ago and did this session. It was awesome!! This year instead of our seniors doing the ASVAB test they had to attend three sessions about financial things. One of them was the budget simulation. I can not say enough how grateful I am for MBEA and the trainings you provide!!!
