This summer, 13 students from Southern Regional’s Band, Orchestra, and Choir programs traveled on an unforgettable 20-day American Music Abroad tour through Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, France, and Belgium, accompanied by their director, Mrs. Hodgson.

These students beautifully represented Southern Regional High School and our Performing Arts programs as they performed concerts throughout Europe. They shared their music, experienced new cultures, explored incredible places, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

They were wonderful ambassadors for our school and represented Southern with talent, enthusiasm, and class every step of the way.

20 days. 5 countries. So many memories.

We are incredibly proud to share that the Southern Regional Jazz Ensemble has been named Atlantic Coast Champions in Wildwood!

In addition to this outstanding achievement, the ensemble was also awarded Best Trumpets, and Christian Compitello was honored with a $10,000 scholarship from the Tournament Indoor Association.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.

We would also like to recognize and congratulate Lorenzo Marciante, Courtney Silvey, Connor Fossa, and Andrew Broadley for their participation in the All-Star Band—an incredible honor and well-deserved recognition of their musicianship.

Special thanks to the Stafford Police Department for providing a police es**rt home, and to our amazing families for the warm and enthusiastic welcome upon their return.

Don’t miss the final opportunity to hear our students perform—tomorrow at 3:00 PM at Java and Jazz in the 11/12 cafeteria, featuring all three district bands.

We are proud to share that the SR Wind Ensemble was invited to perform at the State Concert Band Gala this past weekend! It was an incredible honor to share the stage with some of the top bands in New Jersey.
