There’s something about watching your kids eat fruit straight from the vine with juice dripping down their chins that just feels like childhood used to be. 🍇✨

No screens. No rushed schedules. Just sweet, sticky fingers, fresh air, and wide-open space to run.

Small local farms like ours only thrive when the community shows up to enjoy them. This Saturday morning, we’re opening the gates, and we’d love nothing more than to see our fields full of families making memories.

Come spend your Saturday morning with us at The FARM 1780:

🌸 U-Pick Flowers: $12/stadium cup. Most people easily walk away with two beautiful, medium-sized bouquets. It’s truly the best floral value in town.

🍇 U-Pick Muscadines/Scuppernong Grapes: $2/lb (we supply the bag, you pick the flavor!)..

📍 Where: The FARM 1780 (1127 Corley Mill Road, Lexington)
⏰ When: This Saturday, 9 AM – Noon

🎃 DON’T HAVE PORCH ENVY THIS FALL.

Monday is THE DAY: Patch to Porch reservations officially open!

Yes, I know it’s approximately 8 million degrees outside 🥵 and you may not be ready to think about fall yet.

But you need to. Just for a minute. 😂

Our first install week begins September 20, and availability will go fast.

If you’ve been around South Carolina for a minute, you know “fall” doesn’t necessarily mean fall temperatures. 🥵

So if hauling pumpkins around in 90-degree heat isn’t on your fall bucket list, we’ve got you.

From pumpkin delivery to full porch installs, we’ll haul the pumpkins, do the heavy lifting and…if you want…make the whole thing pretty, too. 🎃

This year, there’s a Patch to Porch option for just about everyone:

🎃 Pumpkin Delivery — we haul them, you decorate
🎃 Ready-to-Book Porch Installs — we haul them and make it pretty
🎃 Custom Installs — for homes, businesses and spaces that need something completely their own
🎃 Make It Yours — add mums, hay bales, neutral pumpkin palettes and more

And once an install week sells out, we don’t add more.

We’ll be open Saturday from 9 AM–Noon with two late-summer favorites ready for picking:

🌻 U-Pick Flowers — $12 stadium cup
Our flower field is showing off right now, with sunflowers included! Most customers tell us they can get 2 medium size bouquets out of what they pick- it’s truly the best value around!

🍇 U-Pick Muscadines — $2/lb
We provide the gallon bag — you pick what you want and pay by the pound.

Prefer to skip the picking? Pre-picked muscadines are $2.75/lb.

Sometimes the best feedback isn’t really about what happened while they were here.

It’s what happens after they go home. 🌱

It’s the kindergartener still talking about flowers, chickens and rain. It’s the corn carefully kept in the closet because Farmer Flash said so. 😂 It’s something they learned at the FARM becoming important enough to remember, repeat and take care of weeks later.

These two messages landed in our inbox recently, and they pretty much say everything we hope FARMcamp and our FARM Days can be for kids.

Come learn. Get dirty. Ask questions. Take something home with you — even if it’s just a really persistent case of “Farmer Flash says…” 🐓🌽

🍇 Muscadine Season is Here! 🍇

This Saturday marks the official opening of Muscadine U-Pick at The FARM 1780!

(They’re grapes… for you non-Southerners. 😉)

We’ll be open Saturday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for U-Pick.

Expected availability:
🍇 Muscadines (Official Opening Weekend!)
🌸 Flowers including sunflowers
🌿 Figs (we’re hopeful, but we’ll know more as Saturday gets closer—watch our stories for updates!)

The FARMstand opens at 9:00 AM. Check our stories for updates throughout the morning. We will close at 12:00 PM, when we are picked out or when weather conditions dictate.

Everything we grow is an agricultural product, so availability is never guaranteed. We announce U-Pick availability the morning of on Facebook and Instagram. U-Pick is first come, first served.

We provide the containers needed for picking.

Our flower field is still putting on a show! Your $12 all-you-can-fill souvenir stadium cup includes sunflowers along with all of the other flowers blooming in the field.

We blinked… and just like that, summer is over. 💚

Happy first day of school to so many of our FARMcampers!

It feels like just yesterday we were picking berries, collecting eggs, making new friends, getting muddy, and learning something new every day.

As you head back to school, we hope you take a little bit of the farm with you. Be curious. Be patient. Work hard. Be kind. Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty, ask questions, or try something that seems difficult the first time. Those are some of the best lessons the farm has to teach.

We sure loved having y’all here this summer. Thank you for making our farm a little louder, a little messier, and a whole lot more fun.

Have the best school year. We’re cheering you on and can’t wait to see you back at the farm soon.

Patch to Porch is coming back. 🎃

Reservations open August 17.

I’ve had several people ask why we wait to open reservations when others have already started.

The answer is simple.

We’re a small family farm.

We don’t want pumpkins sitting around waiting on installation. We wait until our pumpkins are nearly ready, then they go straight from our fields to your porch. If there’s a color we can’t grow ourselves, we source it from other South Carolina farms…not from halfway across the country.

The result? Fresher pumpkins, brighter displays, and installs that simply last longer.

It also means your dollars stay right here, supporting local farmers and our community. With everything happening in agriculture and the growth we’re seeing around Lexington, supporting local feels more important than ever.

If you want first access to reservations, make sure you’re on our email list—that’s where you’ll hear about the launch first.

And if you’re a business or are looking for a custom installation, email us at [email protected]. We’re only taking a limited number of custom installs this season, and they tend to fill quickly.
