Hoboken is officially a HERO Campaign City!
As the first municipality in North Jersey to partner with the HERO Campaign, Hoboken is making a commitment to safer roads, responsible choices, and preventing drunk and impaired driving through the promotion of designated drivers. The City, Hoboken Police Department, and Hoboken Business Alliance will work alongside local businesses to encourage patrons to pledge to “Be a HERO. Be a Designated Driver.“®

We proudly unveiled our newest HERO Campaign Patrol Cars today for the 100 Days of Summer celebration at the Farley Service Plaza on the Atlantic City Expressway. The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office and the Atlantic City Police Department vehicles were the 50th and 51st in our fleet promoting designated driving in memory of Ensign John R. Elliott. Have a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend, and remember all those who helped keep our country safe and free!

Free Soft Drinks 🥤 for Designated Drivers: Hoboken Launches Campaign to Prevent Drunk Driving
Hoboken is proud to become the first city in North Jersey to partner with the HERO Campaign to help prevent drunk and impaired driving. Through partnerships with local businesses, Visit Hoboken, and the Hoboken PD, we’re encouraging safe rides home and supporting designated drivers with free soft drinks at participating Hoboken HERO Businesses.
