Buttery Spritz Cookies for Christmas. Caution....they are addicting. I made these in my little countertop oven this year. I may need to lower the temperature using this oven.

Buttery Spritz Cookies
1 1/2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Beat butter in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on med. speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar and baking powder, beat well.
Add egg and vanilla. Beat until combined.
Beat in as much flour as you can. Stir in remaining flour with a wooden spoon. Do not chill dough.
Pack dough into a cookie press. Force dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. If desired, decorate them with colored sugar, or sprinkles.
Bake at 375 degree oven for 8-10 min. or until edges are firm but not brown. Remove cookies and cool on wire racks. Makes about 84 cookies.
