Not only do we teach children, but provide family-centered services to eligible families w/ kids birth to five. Last Friday was our Third Annual Glimmer Awards Ceremony! We recognized staff for an array of achievements, including attendance, years of service, winning some end-of-year competitions, and of course our big ticket item--exemplifying our agency's Core Values. Congratulations to our all of winners, and we hope all of our staff have a phenomenal summer!

We are excited to announce the opening of the Early Childhood Learning Center at The Rapid Central Station in Grand Rapids. In partnership with W.K. Kellogg Foundation, YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Public Schools, The Rapid Transit Authority, and Pure Architects, we are honored to be a part of this project and attend the ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, June 8th.

The facility aims to make childcare more accessible and affordable for bus riders. The center is officially open and children enrolled will start in September!

Today, we’re celebrating our 2025–2026 retirees and recognizing the lasting impact they’ve made on children, families, and our community.
