We are so excited to gather together tomorrow and finally get this conference started.

Here is a little bit of information about someone you will be working with this weekend: one of our Conference Coordinators, Jen Schlueter.

Jen Schlueter is a teacher, artist, and leader deeply engaged in interdisciplinary education. She’s won several teaching awards, including OSU’s Ratner Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching, and is a Project Director for the Social Change, Community Engagement, and Creative Practice Discovery Theme. She’s currently at work on a coauthored book, with Elizabeth Wellman PhD, entitled The Bravest Choice: A Poetics of Courage in the Twenty First Century Classroom, as well as a commissioned adaptation of Colin Meloy’s young adult novel, Wildwood, for Grandstreet Theatre.
