This is unsettling. 1 in 6 of the most listed employers on Medicaid forms in Oregon is a major grocer and retailer (we're looking at you, Wal-Mart, Safeway, Amazon and Fred Meyer/Kroger). These are the same companies posting record profits while paying a fraction of the taxes they used to, all while pushing workers onto public assistance to cover basic health care. It's time to hold these big names accountable and protect healthcare access for every Oregonian.
