NESI 2026 ZOOM Q&A ✨ Tuesday, June 2nd at 7pm (tonight! zoom link in bio!)

Is this your first time attending NESI? Do you have questions about the program or housing? Just want to say hi?

Join Co-Directors Wendy Sawicki and Yasmin Vitalius, along with a NESI parent and a faculty member for an informational session to learn more about NESI 2026. You’ll hear what is new and have time to ask questions during this Q&A session.

**The meeting will be recorded if you cannot attend in person**

NESI’s annual Flatbread fundraiser is coming up on Tuesday, June 9th in Portland 🎶 We hope to see you there!

6:00pm Violin/viola play-in (all welcome - you do not need to attend NESI to participate) 🎻
5-9pm - Fundraiser duration. A portion of proceeds from ALL flatbread sales ordered between 5 PM and 9 PM will go to NESI. 🍕

Come to the restaurant (72 Commercial St in Portland) for NESI camaraderie. Dine in, take out or have food delivered. All versions of Flatbreads orders count! We will also have our famous 50/50 raffle 🎟️

For those who have attended NESI in the past, this is a great way to reconnect with friends you only see during the summer. For new attendees, you can meet our community and join in the fun. You do not need to attend NESI in order to play in the play-in ❤️

Pieces for the play-in will be selected from the following list:
Book 1: All
Book 2: Chorus from Judas Maccabeus, Hunter’s Chorus, Long Long Ago + variation, Boccherini Minuet
Book 3: Martini Gavotte, Minuet 3 w/minor section, Bourree by Bach
Book 4: Seitz Concerto 2/3rd mvmt, Bohm Perpetual Motion
Book 4/5: Bach Double
Book 5: Vivaldi g minor concerto, 1st mvmt

Attention NESI family! Sending out a friendly reminder that if you are in Book 4 or higher, you’ll need to submit your Chamber Ensemble audition video by tomorrow (Wednesday), April 1st! FMI visit the NESI website and look under the “information” tab where you’ll see the heading “How to Submit Video Auditions”
