Effective Date August 1, 2026

As of August 1, 2026, restaurants must comply with the new statewide requirement governing the limit of single-use utensils, plastics, straws, and condiments in an effort to reduce plastic waste. This year’s picnic took place at The Forest Lodge in Warren, NJ—a wonderful, family-owned multi-venue facility set on 40 acres of nostalgic charm, featuring beautiful picnic grounds and outstanding food. The owners and staff were a pleasure to work with and helped ensure a memorable experience for all.
