Calling Black women “unfit for the power they hold” because of the color of their skin is racist.

There is no “political disagreement” here. This rhetoric is disparaging and un-American, and must be called out by every politician on both sides of the aisle.

This is what a win by the people, for the people, looks like.

No machine backing. No corporate PAC money paving the way. Just everyday people, organizers, mothers, working families, believers, showing up and showing out for a candidate who has never once stopped fighting for them.

A candidate for the United States Senate should uphold a basic standard of decorum, not resort to baseless accusations that inflame tensions and divide Michiganders.

While Rep. Haley Stevens chose personal attacks, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed redirected the conversation toward policy, accountability, and the issues affecting working families. Michigan deserves a senator who leads with substance, honesty, and respect.

The saxophones are getting louder at the White House Correspondents dinner.

The White House Correspondents' Dinner should celebrate a free press, not a platform for bigotry.

Instead, Trump used the national stage to insult sitting members of Congress, once again using "Palestinian" as a slur and making derogatory remarks about Palestinians and Sharia law.

When a president treats an entire people, identity, or faith as the punchline, it's not comedy, it's dangerous.
