Had our regional game tonight in Darlington. We lost 3-0 to a really good team. Sam pitched his best game of the year. Was perfect through 3 innings. Only gave up 4 hits all game, striking out 9 and walking 1. It has been a rough year with few wins but this team has improved so much. Very proud of the way they never gave up on the season or each other. Came to practice and worked hard every day without complaints. The special thing about this group is that everyone will be back next year. Can't wait to see what the future brings for this group.

Lost to the Dells 8-0 tonight. Sam pitched well. Defensively we struggled and offensively we weren't much better. Things will get better. Looking to turn it around at home tomorrow against Weyauwega-Freemont.

Lost to a really good Wittenberg team tonight 13-4 in 6 innings. 6 of their runs were unearned which made it even tougher. We left 14 on base in those 6 innings as well. Couple good defensive plays by them and some base running mistakes by us made it tough to get back in it. Brayden, Ethan and Treyton all pitched well. We may not see a better offensive team the rest of the season. We'll work on things tomorrow and be back at it Thursday night at home against the Dells for the conference opener.

Great start to the year boys!!! 13-2 in 5innings at home against Iola-Scandinavia. Sam pitched 4 strong innings striking out 9. Ethan came in and closed the door in the 5th with 2 k's of his own. Team battled at the plate all night with good at bats putting up 11 hits. Congrats to Henry Flyte on his first homerun. Still have some things we need to work on and go over before Monday when we play at Portage but overall great opening day.
