REAL LIFE MISSION TRIP
Spring Break 2025

Last week 17 Real Life students and 2 staff members drove to New Bern, North Carolina to partner with World Renew and Craven County Disaster Recovery Alliance.
They spent the week working on homes that were destroyed in Hurricane Florence.

During this mission trip, families were reached with the Gospel, homes were restored, and our Real Life crew bonded and learned what it looks like to actively be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Praise the Lord for all that He did through the team and the connections that were made with the homeowners that they were able to serve!

BAPTISMS

This past Friday we came together to celebrate the baptisms of three of our students as they took the next step in publicly proclaiming Jesus as their Lord and Savior and committing their lives to Him!!

Praise be to God for the work He has done in their lives and for what He will continue to do!!

⚠️ COMMUNITY GROUPS ⚠️

This Tuesday at 7PM begins our weekly community group gatherings!!

Our staff members and volunteers each help in facilitating one of the four CG’s that make up Real Life Campus Ministry!!

These community groups are designed to bring you into deeper fellowship with others that are seeking to grow in relationship with Christ.

At community group, you can expect to hear a message, study scripture, dive into small group discussion, join in worship and prayer, and make connections with fellow college students!

🌳 Faith February with Real Life Campus Ministry is a month where we challenge students to initiate Gospel conversations and to step out in Faith, believing that God wants to do big things here at Ferris State University!!

🌳 During the entire month of February we encouraged students to intentionally share their Faith with others. We had opportunities to serve the community, start up Discovery Bible Studies, join together in prayer, and we had outreach and evangelism initiatives on campus.

🌳 The Outreach Tables are an incredible way to connect with fellow students on campus and to begin Gospel conversations! It was amazing seeing so many students step out in faith by signing up to take part in hosting these tables!

The goal with Faith February and these outreach tables is that it would carry forward into the rest of our lives! That we would always be looking for ways to share the Good News we have in Christ Jesus!

Praise the Lord for the work He has done and will continue to do here at Ferris State University!

🌳 CG Winter Retreat Recap 🌳

Our four community groups each took time away for a weekend of community building and intentional spiritual growth.

We shared our testimonies with one another and practiced speaking the Gospel into everyday experiences and conversations.

As we are in the midst of Faith February this month, we encourage you to continue sharing the work God has done in your life.

We have such an incredible message of hope, redemption, and freedom in Christ!

Let us be a community that is fluent in the Gospel and a light to our campus!!

”For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

We are kicking off the first Tuesday night of the winter semester with a Large Group! Whether you spent all last semester as a part of Real Life or you are just now getting the opportunity to check us out, come join us for a night of worship, fellowship, discussion, a message, prayer, and opportunities to connect with some local summer camps! We can’t wait to see you there!

What a way to end the semester! We got to celebrate the testimonies and baptisms of four students! Their stories were extremely powerful and a great reminder of the many ways God was working this semester. We cannot wait to see what he does next semester!
