Earlier this month we celebrated the players who have committed to being part of the return of UNC Men’s Hockey. Their dedication, passion, and belief in building something special from the ground up are what will shape the future of our program.

Thank you to the families, friends, supporters, and community members who joined us to celebrate this milestone. We’re excited to see what this group accomplishes both on and off the ice.

Cayenne has been the athletic trainer for our program since 2008. She and her family have been a huge part of our game days making sure everyone was safe and taken care of. The UNC Bears Hockey family is mourning the loss of one of our biggest fans, Michaela Broadribb. A fierce, loyal, and loving sister of Jonathan. Throughout Jonathan’s time at UNC, you would always find Michaela and her family in the stands. She made every game, home or away and her loyalty to our program was unmatched. The love she had for her brother was something most siblings would dream of having. Our hearts are broken. We are sending all our love to Jonathan and his family during this horribly difficult time.
