“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” - Carl Jung

I believe there is a global desire for change and people around the world especially young workers are looking for a greater purpose in their lives, work that is interesting and fulfilling, a voice in key decisions, and positive experiences that are values-driven and inclusive.

This desire for change is happening at the same time that most people are feeling hopeless and insecure about their future. I want to change that and I want you to join me on this mission. I believe authentic entrepreneurship is the key to giving people hope.

I believe authentic entrepreneurship helps people learn how to lead themselves in the face of uncertainty. It helps them envision a concrete path to a better situation which empowers them to set goals and make plans to reach those goals. Studies have shown that higher levels of hope are connected to improved well-being and can help people find meaning and purpose.

I am on a mission to operationalize hope in the world through authentic entrepreneurship and empower people to build resilience in the face of uncertainty. If you are an aspiring, first-time, early-stage, or seasoned entrepreneur struggling in your life or your business and you have a desire for more, join me.

Hi, my name is Tawanda Chirenda. I am the founder of Becoming a Willing Student. I used to think passion was enough to build a great business, go through life as an entrepreneur, and become who you want to be. I was wrong, very wrong.

I discovered the hard way that you need strategy. I discovered you need to learn how to lead yourself first before you can lead anyone else. I am now a Willing Student, and I am on a mission to teach others what I have learned and what I am still learning.

I still have my passion. In fact, I am more passionate now than I have ever been my entire life. I am passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to take control of their businesses and lives the right way. Yes, there is a wrong way to go about it. I know a lot about that.

I want every entrepreneur to inspire and prosper and become who they want to be. The struggle I went through as a young entrepreneur inspired me to create Becoming a Willing Student, a business coaching program for smart, passionate and compassionate entrepreneurs who want more from their businesses and their lives.

Becoming a Willing Student is for caring entrepreneurs who want more focus, clarity and confidence in their businesses and in their lives. If you want to live your purpose, aligned with your values, and according to your strengths, join me.
