Thank you to the American Public Power Association for highlighting Kurt Miller's opinion piece on the importance of advancing the Fix Our Forests Act. Reliable electric service and effective wildfire mitigation depend on the ability of public power utilities to safely maintain transmission and distribution corridors on federally managed lands. Kurt's article highlights why modernizing these processes is critical for our communities and the electric grid. We appreciate the opportunity to help elevate this important conversation.
The bipartisan wildfire bill is ready. Oregon’s US senators should help pass it.
The bipartisan coalition is already in place.
