Staff Spotlight ⭐
Meet Roberts Amu, Program Lead, Christ-Centered Education in Liberia. He joined Edify in 2023, after he attended several Edify trainings and workshops during his two decades as a school teacher and administrator. Roberts sensed God calling him to use his background to transform lives through relationship-building. He began as a Christ-Centered Education Officer before stepping into his current role as Program Lead.
Roberts enjoys serving as a motivational and servant leader on the Liberia team, drawing on his extensive background in education to impact local schools and communities. Most of all, he loves that his daily interactions allow him to encourage others to live a Christ-centered life.
Fun fact: Roberts has experienced the education sector from nearly every angle, having served in elementary, junior high, secondary schools, and university over the course of twenty years. Through every season, his greatest joy has been bringing an uplifting spirit to his teams. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family and serving as a pastor in his local congregation, a balance that brings him a deep sense of peace and purpose.
Reflecting on one word that embodies his time at Edify, Roberts shares, "Transformation. God is using my journey at Edify to continually refine my heart for servant leadership, teaching me how to better love, build relationships, and impact others for His kingdom."
