Full birth-facilitation services: prenatal care, home birth & postpartum care in the Wiregrass/Panhandle and surrounding areas

There is nothing quite like these first moments after birth. These moments are some of the best that I get the honor of witnessing as a midwife.

The relief. The exhaustion. The overwhelming love. The feeling of finally holding the little babe you’ve waited so long to meet. Enjoying the fruit of your labor. All the hard work & surrender finally paying off.

Birth is powerful—but sometimes the most beautiful part comes right after, when everything grows quiet and the whole world seems to shrink down to just mama and baby.

This is the golden hour.

Unhurried. Undisturbed.

Protected because of the sacred time that it is

If you have photos of your golden hour I’d love to see them in the comments!

A beautiful day seeing office clients this morning.

I was able to welcome a new client in to care, saw a 7 week postpartum client for her last visit (🥺), and visited with several other clients who are all preparing to welcome their new babies in the near future.

I love these days that don’t feel like work, but like sitting with friends. Helping them to prepare for one of the biggest moments of their life. No matter if it’s their first time, or they’ve welcomed babies before-this space is just so special to me. I’m just so happy to be here, serving women & walking out this calling on my life.

5 sweet WWM babes welcomed in July by Midwife Jordan.

A first time mama who did so well preparing herself mentally and physically for birth. At 41 weeks her ultrasound showed something that could be worrisome with her placenta-so she ultimately made the brave decision to transfer to hospital for the birth of her sweet baby girl.

A sweet family who welcomed their fourth baby at home. After waiting 42 weeks to meet their baby boy-when labor started it was super quick and smooth! Less than 2 hours of active labor and this sweet babe was being held by his parents.

A family who had to shift plans at the end of pregnancy to welcome their baby in the hospital setting. After a very quick labor & beautiful birth this baby girl was born in to her loving parent’s arms. Such a different experience than they previously had, and lots of thankfulness surrounding the care they received with this change of plans.

A first time mama who worked so hard to bring her baby earth side. After many hours of laboring with her husband, doula & support pups-this rockstar of a mama birthed her sweet baby in to her sister’s hands. This surprise gender turned little girl-totally taking her parents by surprise.

A first time mama who had a fairly quick birth! From water breaking to holding her baby in her arms was just short of 14 hours. Her & her husband worked so well together. Dad got to catch this sweet baby girl and bring her to mom’s chest. Such a beautiful birthing-day.

After our crazy month of June births-July was just what my heart needed. A little slower go, lots of relaxing time with my family, some beautiful births, and gearing up for a very busy fall season.

We’ve already welcomed one perfect little August babe-here’s to a beautiful month ahead

Welcoming my sweet friend and previous WWM mama to our Maternity Network! So excited to have Hailey as a functional nutrition practitioner. I know she’s going to be such a blessing to our clients.

“Hi, I’m Hailey! My passion is helping women build a strong foundation for motherhood through faith, nourishment, and compassionate support for both mom and baby.

As a functional nutrition practitioner and mom of four, I had the privilege of being cared for by Jordan during the births of both of my daughters in 2022 and 2024. Her compassionate care and unwavering support were pivotal in my own motherhood journey and deepened my desire to come alongside women during this sacred season.

My goal is to nourish both mother and baby throughout pregnancy, support a healthy postpartum transition, and help women build a strong foundation for lifelong wellness. I believe true nourishment goes beyond food — it’s about caring for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

It is such an honor to be part of the With Women Midwifery family, and I look forward to serving every mama and baby God places in my path.”

Hailey’s services will now be included in our deluxe package, and available for individual purchase! We are so excited & honored to have this needed addition to our Maternity Network.

Taking this week to honor the women who make my job possible. My amazing birth assistants that support & love me so well. I truly couldn’t do what I do without their support & friendships.

Today I’m honoring Angela Dalton. She’s been with me since the beginning and I truly couldn’t do what I do without her support and friendship.

Hi, I’m Angela.

I am a wife of 30 years, mama to 4 incredible kiddos ages 28,26, 23 & 8 & Lala to 1 grandbaby. I have been serving families in birth work for the past 30+ years, including 13 years as a doula/childbirth educator and the past 6 years as a birth assistant. Every family I have walked alongside has strengthened my belief that birth is more than a medical event—it is a sacred, life-changing experience that deserves individualized care, evidence-based support, and compassionate guidance. My greatest passions are Jesus, my family, traveling, and all things pregnancy & birth. For me, birth work isn’t simply a career—it’s a calling that God placed on my heart many years ago. My greatest joy is helping mothers and fathers experience birth in a way that leaves them feeling informed, empowered, supported, and deeply respected. I believe welcoming a baby into the world is one of God’s most beautiful creations, and every mother and father deserve to feel informed, supported, encouraged, and deeply cared for as they walk through that journey.

Nearly ten years ago, I met Jordan while she was working as a labor and delivery nurse. From the very beginning, I admired her heart for mothers and her unwavering desire to ensure women truly understood their options. I watched with excitement as she pursued her dream of becoming a midwife and continued serving families within the hospital setting.

Then I had the privilege of supporting Jordan during the home birth of her third baby—a birth I will never forget. That day, I witnessed more than the birth of a beautiful baby. I watched a midwife discover the place God was calling her to serve. There was a peace in that room that is difficult to put into words. The quiet confidence, the gentle support, the freedom for birth to unfold naturally, and the deep trust in God's design left a lasting imprint on my heart.

Soon afterward, Jordan stepped out in faith, and With Women Midwifery was born. That experience forever transformed the way I view birth. So much so that when my oldest daughter told me she was pregnant, she looked at me and said, "Mom, I want to have my baby at home, with you taking care of me." My heart was overwhelmed with joy, and I knew immediately that the safest place for her prenatal care would be with Jordan. Watching my own daughter walk through her pregnancy under Jordan's compassionate, skilled care was an incredible blessing.

The day my daughter went into labor is a day I will cherish forever. It was beautiful, peaceful, and deeply physiological. She surrendered completely to the incredible way God designed her body to give birth, surrounded by people who loved her and were committed to protecting her space. Jordan stood quietly in the background, providing the skilled care that allowed my daughter to labor confidently and safely. Witnessing my daughter's strength, courage, and determination was something I will never forget. Then, having the indescribable privilege of catching my own granddaughter and placing her into my daughter's arms is a moment that words simply cannot capture. It forever deepened my love and appreciation for physiological birth and reaffirmed my calling to help other families experience birth in a way that is safe, supported, and filled with peace.

Today, it is an honor to serve alongside Jordan and the incredible team at With Women Midwifery. Every family has a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to be invited into such a holy moment in their lives.

If you have any memories of Angela attending your birth we’d love to hear it in the comments!

Taking this week to honor the women who make my job possible. My amazing birth assistants that support & love me so well. I truly couldn’t do what I do without their support & friendships.

Today I’m honoring Jordyn Longsworth. She’s a former L&D nurse turned doula/birth assistant and I’m so happy to have her a part of our time.

“Hi, I’m Jordyn! My greatest joys are Jesus, my family, and walking alongside others in meaningful seasons of life. I’ve always been deeply passionate about birth and the way women are cared for during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. One of God’s sweetest gifts to our family was welcoming our youngest baby at home with Jordan as our midwife. That experience was such a blessing and forever deepened my love for home birth and the beautiful, personal care women deserve.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to now serve as a birth assistant with Jordan at With Women Midwifery. There is something incredibly special about witnessing the way she cares for women with gentleness, deep knowledge, evidence-based care, and wholehearted dedication. It’s an honor to support her as she serves families so faithfully, and I don’t take for granted the privilege of caring for mothers, babies, and their loved ones during such sacred moments.“

If you have any memories of Jordyn attending your birth we’d love to hear it in the comments!
